survey

Ciara Lydon

1) The purpose of the survey we created is to understand the way students and teachers view and use BYOD.

2)Yes, the majority of the people who took our survey were high schoolers. This helps us to understand they are dealing with RMHS teachers and BYOD.

3) In my survey i would change question 14 so you could pick multiple answers.

4) There is no difference

5) Question number seven asked, " Do you think you should be able to use your phone for non academics?" A large percent of the respondents responded yes, in the hallways or not during class, this showed me RMHS may want to change their policy on this.

6) The survey showed me that many RMHS students are frustrated with the BYOD system given that wifi is often unavailable to them. Another piece of information i gained is that 100% of our survey applicants had atlas 1 device yet a large number of students say their teachers rarely take advantage of this.

7) I like getting to work with Jess. We both had great ideas and worked well as a team.

write and predict

In the new franchise project i might be challenged with licensing, promotions and staffing.I think i will do well on the parking because i was good at that lesson  and i will well with picking a profitable location. I think the most important thing  is to be patient with this project although i may no succeed at first i should just keep trying.

piracy

Sony: This company had a major security breach in 2015 that led to 1000's of employees being laid off. It is believed that North Korea is to blame for this.

Itunes: iTunes match was created so that Apple could receive profit from pirated music. The software matches pirated music to your cloud.

MGM: In 2005, the supreme court ruled to make company's liable for customer piracy, and allows that they will be able to sue.

chapter 3 scavenger hunt

I think the easiest task was using the google doc. I like working with the partner its good if you have a question and you can split up the work.  I would rather work on something like this with a partner because you can both find thins online that could be helpful. This is a good assessment of chapter 3 because all of our topics were covered in the scavenger hunt.
